Governmental Affairs Committee

Term Length: Two Years

The Governmental Affairs Committee meets for approximately one hour, one day a month as needed.

The Governmental Affairs Committee promotes member political involvement, oversees RPAC fund-raising, informs members of legislation affecting the real estate industry and recommends candidate endorsements to the Board of Directors. In addition, the Governmental Affairs Committee nominates the RAP (REALTOR® Active in Politics), if applicable.
