Mary Helen Gilbert - In Memoriam
The Charles Reinhart Company
Mary Helen Gilbert began her membership in the Ann Arbor Area Board of REALTORS® in 1992. She served as a Director and Treasurer of the Board, was Chair of the Finance/Investment Committee, Chair of the Multiple Listing Committee, and Chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee. Mary Helen also served on the Professional Standards, Forms, Personnel, and Nominating Committees. She was an associate broker who was instrumental in choosing the Board's technological systems, including MLXchange. Mary Helen earned the GRI, ABR, CRS, SRES, and e-PRO Designations during her career. She was a Pi-Beta-Phi sorority member at the University of Michigan and served as President of the Women's Council of REALTORS®. She volunteered to help others in adult foster care, hospice, and served as a principal in the formation of the local Alzheimer's chapter. She supported the Children's Miracle Network and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Congratulations Mary Helen, we will miss you!
