Thank you to all of the volunteers that helped to activate the Ypsilanti Farmers Marketplace at Growing Hope's AAABoR Work Day on Thursday, May 18.

The Ann Arbor Area Board of REALTORS® organized a volunteer work day for Growing Hope and the Ypsilanti Farmers Marketplace. Growing Hope was awarded a placemaking grant from Michigan Realtors® and the Ann Arbor Area Board of REALTORS®. One of the grant requirements was that AAABoR members had the opportunity to volunteer with the project.

AAABoR REALTOR® and Affiliate members worked hard in the sun to help prepare a pathway to be painted from the street to the Marketplace doors, clean up debris and weed the marketplace gardens, insulate the Marketplace green house, and other tasks. These tasks were needed for preparation of the installation of lights, patio heaters, moveable and stackable tables and seating, installation of oversized lawn games and more.
