Electronic Lockboxes Available For Non-AAABoR Members

The Ann Arbor Area Board of REALTORS® (AAABoR) announces the ability to offer electronic lockboxes to ANY REALTOR®! The AAABoR uses the SentriLock system.

Electronic lockboxes provides the ability to set a 1-day access code, set-up a contractor code for those individuals that may need multiple day access to the property and the ability to set-up a call before showing (CBS) code, which provides more control over listings. CBS codes may be helpful for a property that requires a special disclosure or waiver be signed first.

HUD and other REO-related agencies/organizations are considering an electronic lockbox requirement on their properties. A recent communication from HUD states: "...will be required to utilize an electronic lockbox system that must have the following features: one-day access codes that are time limited, one-day access codes can be set to change automatically, the ability to store and retireve dates for entry, and the ability to store and retrieve the identity of persons that enter." AAABoR's SentriLock system meets all of these requirements.
